In this program, trainees devote time to bone marrow and lymph node morphology interpretation, peripheral smear and body fluid cytology, flow cytometry, cytochemistry, immunohistochemistry, coagulation and platelet studies, automated hematology, erythrocyte studies, cytogenetics and molecular diagnostic techniques. The fellow is actively involved in the management and administration of the laboratory throughout the year. The fellow also participates in teaching residents and medical students.
