First stop:

Note the new grad schools! ANU was new last year, Griffith (on the Gold Coast, about an hour from Brisbane) is new this year, haven't heard a thing about Univ Notre Dame, and UWA (Perth) has been traditionally -- as UQ, USyd, Melbourne once were -- undergrad (i.e., it's new at grad but not medicine). Basic rule is (or was, last year, didn't read the above guide for any changes for this year) you can specify two schools on the ACER application form, but only one will give you an interview (with your top specified choice considering you first). However, you can also apply to USyd and Flinders via their own independent app form (get off their sites), so you can get as many as 3 interviews. Get official copies of your transcripts, submit apps, wait for interviews. Don't be afraid to make email inquiries to the schools if you have questions, so long as you don't repeatedly annoy them with trivial matters.

Here are some other resources that you may or may not find valuable:

You can also search these threads for many articles last year about the process, e.g., some 'stats' i submitted here last year on entrance requirements (some gotten from last year's version of the above rather long GMAC guide), on calculating your gpa, various city's living standards, various myths about doing med overseas and those who choose to do so, yadayadayada...
