GPA, Waitlists etc etc

Ok, I have this very bad problem. My GPA is low this year (though my overall GPA is still high) due to various reasons. My GPA is likely to go down next year as well. Did anybody have early onset senioritis like I do? Maybe I'm in a bad gene pool.

ALso, how does taking classes P/F affect your chance? I heard getting off waitlist depends largely on your new GPA...
