Description:
Welcoming applications from non-matching physicians or graduating medical students for an unpaid, 9-month (flexible) appointment as a Research Fellow at Aventura Hospital and Medical Center in Aventura, FL. Serving directly under Dr. Christopher Ochner, Division Director of Research, these individuals will support clinical research efforts of Aventura residents, fellows and GME faculty.

This position will provide rapid opportunity for authorship on abstracts and manuscripts, a strong letter of recommendation, the opportunity to interact with specialty Program Directors, and consideration for a residency program at Aventura for the following academic year.

Qualifications:

• English fluency required
• Qualification for a residency program in the following academic year required
• Research experience preferred
• Experience writing abstracts and manuscripts preferred
