MD & DO For anyone that did not receive summer funding for research project. What did you all do?

So I found out a couple of weeks ago that my project is not being funded.

Was wondering if any current M1 or upperclassmen who experienced this know what they did in a situation like this?

Did you guys just get more loans, alternative funding, work study especially with how short notice this is.
