DO DO School - What are my chances?

Alright everyone, I would love for honest opinions and feedback. I would be applying to matriculate in 2019.

I graduated with a 3.28cgpa/3.2sgpa with a 506 MCAT taken this June.

Some of the things I did in college include:
- 2 years of research with a poster presentation
- 500 hours working as a medical scribe
- 100 hours volunteering in various departments in a hospital
- Worked as a Resident Assistant
- Participated in an alternative break trip, as well as various other short term volunteer opportunities
- I also ran 3 marathons, if that counts for anything

I am currently taking a gap year and serving as a Team Leader for AmeriCorps NCCC (a national service program). I should have close to 2000 hours of service when I finish in April.

I know my stats are sub-par, so will likely be doing a post-bac next year. I am looking at LECOM right now because it sounds like they have a very strong linkage with the med school. Let me know if you know of any other good ones!

Are you URM? What is your state of residence?

Even though your GPA is below average, you have a great MCAT.

Your EC's are good.

I suggest applying broadly to all the new D.O. schools and your state schools (if you have any)

An early app to a broad range of schools, especially the newer DO schools as the other poster listed, and I think you have a good shot next cycle.
