damaged credibility

CorpsmanUP is a SDN member (4th yr DO student) who has been confrontational toward DPMs and ODs.

He confronted me about Ilizarov frames -- basically he said that no real physician knows what an Ilizarov is, just podiatrist. Do I need to point out what a rediculous comment this is? Due to his ranting and offensive bantor his thread was closed by the moderators:

He then started a thread in which he fabricated a story that he got in an argument with a female podiatrist during medicine rounds about what an Ilizarov was. Subsequently, he rambled on about how stupid podiatrists were to think that real physicians knew what an Ilizarov external fixator was. This thread also was closed by the moderators:

Regardless how petty the argument, he is willing to go to great lengths by compromising his ethics, lying, and misleading others to bring down what he calls NPS (non-physician specialists). I have reported him to the moderators.

I have wonderful working relationships with my other physician colleagues. It's disheartening to se us welcoming someone like CorpsmanUP into our company.

His credibility should be questioned everytime he posts.

I don't know the rules here very well, but starting a forum to publically discredit someone seems like going to great length in my opinion. If you already reported him, whats the point of starting a thread on this particular topic...public awareness?

hm...on second thoughts..having read his post in detail...i agree with you. he should be banned.

Starting a thread for the express purpose of attacking another poster is wrong - no matter what that poster has done. If you've reported him/her, thanks! Please refrain from responding in kind.
