Craniotomies as Private Practice NS

Hi, I was hoping to hear anyone's thoughts concerning the prevalence of private practice neurosurgeons who focus on brain rather than spine. I hear insurance for private practice neurosurgeons goes up dramatically if the practice intends to go intracranial.
