Has anyone got any information about this place? They seem to offer externships for IMGs in Radiology.

Just wondering if anyone has any feedback.

Thanks in advance!

This has to got to be the WORST place to ever work!

The owner of the company is Dr Faisal Sami. He lures in applicants with the promise of a fun environment, full benefits, higher pay with bonus, and a raise down the road.
ALL LIES!

1. There is NO health insurance. Dr Sami thinks offering Aflac (Supplemental Accidental Insurance) is the same as offering an actual health insurance
2. The job ad will say $18-$26 per hour. In reality you start off at a base of $13 per hr and then you get a bonus for each report you complete. Even the fastest and most experienced people there aren’t even getting $20 per hr (including the bonus)
3. Forget about getting a raise! Dr Sami hates giving anyone a raise. If by some miracle he does give a raise, he will work you like a dog day and night. Even the veterans working who have been there for almost 2 yrs are still getting a base of $13 per hr
You’ll make more money flipping burgers at McDonalds or working at ALDI.
Plus you’ll get REAL BENEFITS!

4. There are no boundaries between the employer and employee. Constant messages/phone calls throughout the night, early morning, weekends, holidays, etc.
5. LABOR LAW VIOLATIONS!
You will never get overtime pay, even if you go above 40hrs per week. If you do end up with extra hours, Dr Sami will most likely create another time clock account for you to split the hours between them.
NO PTO! They will tell you that there’s PTO but when you try to use it they’ll find a way to not give it.
There is no sick leave. If you get sick and miss a day, they will shame you and make you regret taking that day off
6. Good luck with getting a letter of recommendation. Dr Sami doesn’t write those. He’ll make you write your own
7. Dr Sami doesn’t do a great job in teaching medical students who rotate here. He has the students sit behind him and observe his reads for the entire shift. He may teach or ask questions for a couple minutes every hour
8. Dr Sami’s moto on hiring new employees: hire fast but fire quicker. He fires people over text messages and then blocks them. Who does that? What kind of a medical practice does that?!

For your own sanity, stay away from this place!
