First of all i am in 3rd year in medical school , i know that you'll tell me keep doing what you were doing but that does not work in 3rd,4th,5th year

Basically in 1st and 2nd year information were about 10 times less than 3rd year , i used to study like this :
Read a block of test like this :

Pseudomonas : symptoms , treatment

Like i read a block of text 6 lignes to 8 lignes then look away and rewrite the whole thing but it is too time consuming

Is it better like to do this :

I read the symptoms then recall it and after that i read treatment and recall it persons at high risk then recall it like in small chunks , i found that way it takes too much less time then reading by a block but my intuition says that i didn't study well and even if i repeated 6 times on spaced intervalls i won't learn

Please help

Ps: i tried anki and it did not work well for me

Help please

It's hard to tell someone how to study. Everyone is so different. I would go see your school's learning resource center as they would be more equipped to help you.
