Braces - Lower Lateral Incissors should be at same height as Lower Centrals?

I currently am wearing braces and am curious...my doctor says i am almost complete (1-2 more sessions) but on closer inspection i notice that both my mandibular lateral incisors are 0.5 of a milometer lower than my central incisors they are adjacent to. This is for both laterals.

Is this the correct height position for lower lateral incisors? I notice this is the case for upper laterals so maybe my concern isnt warranted.
