I'm getting confused by different sources on when you hear S1, S2, what you find in aortic stenosis and WHY, opening snap, S3, diastolic rumble, etc.

Any good easy to understand resources that you guys have come across?

thanks

just get an echo - then you don't have to worry about a good auscultation... and by the way, echo is probably a lot more accurate

So you're going to get an echo for every murmur you hear? It's a lot cheaper, and quicker and more fun to at least look and listen to figure out if it's pathologic or not...

anyway, an awesome site is www.blaufuss.org
