I am I currently a Junior Communication Sciences and Disorders major. I am looking to apply to two different Audioligy grad schools this coming year (UMass and UConn). I have a minor in Bioethics, 3.89 overall GPA, and a 3.98 major gpa. I have a ton of extraciricular activities, over 30 hours of observation hours in an audiology setting, and I plan on conducting research this summer. I am a little nervous about the GRE, but I am currently in a prep class. So, hopefully that will help me when I go to take the exam this summer.
So, my question is, how do I look as a student for grad school applications? Also, what can I do to strengthen my application?
If you pay more attention to detail with respect to your spelling and grammar upon proofreading, you will likely have a good chance.
Have you actually reached out to faculty and students at those Au.D. programs? Do they participate in CSDCAS? Do they host open houses?
