Hello! I am currently investigating the disparity in end-of-life decisions in human and veterinary medicine, and thought it would be interesting to explore the attitudes towards this topic within this online community. Please share your responses and any other input or discussion regarding end-of-life decisions.

What is your level of education?

What state (if U.S.) or country do you live in?

What is your attitude towards physician-assisted suicide in human patients (support/oppose)?

What ethical values align or conflict with your opinion of physician-assisted suicide?

What is your attitude towards animal euthanasia (support/oppose)?

What ethical values align or conflict with animal euthanasia?

In your opinion, how do the responsibilities of a designated surrogate decision maker for a patient (i.e. Family who act as autonomous decision makers for children, persistent vegetative state patients etc.) differ from autonomous decision makers (owners) of pets/ animals?
