Hi guys I am new here and I was wondering if Arabs are considered URM? I am just curious and I'm not sure if this is the right place to post. If Arabs are not considered URM, anyone know the reason for that? For college, they're classified as white people. Thanks.

Typically no unless you do identify as black since there are black Arabs, white Arabs and etc. If you are uncomfortable with the distinction of white, you can always choose other and write out your ethnicity. I do know a few schools consider Arabs as URM such as UMich
