Out of curiosity, are there any hospitals in the army system that staffs some of their internist as hospitalist? Anybody know this.

I will be going to WBAMC this summer for an inpatient rotation, apparently this hospital does have hospitalist. I know that in teh civilian world, they are popping up all over the place, how about in the army world?

WBAMC?

No military hosp that I'm aware of has adopted a true hospitalist service. That said, all the attendings rotate through the wards. As an IM resident, you can consider yourself a hospitalist with a clinic;). One of the ward teams at Balboa tried the hospitalist thing (2 attendings that alternated) but the war got in the way.
