Anti-Hypertensive meds to Teenagers ?

if a 17yr old who had high BP last month and comes to clinic today and still has high BP. Do we start him on meds or counsel him on diet ?

Depends on the pressure, but HTN in younger folks is almost always secondary to another cause, start looking for that.
