Hey...why are radiology and anesthesiology placed together?...what do they have in common....
i have noticed in many places that people either want to do radiology or anesthesiology....how are those even similiar?

anyway...thanks for your help

1. Don't have to listen to patients ramble on-and-on about their problems.

2. Easy to become an employee of a hospital, with less overhead and less day-to-day staffing problems.

3. Reason #1 needs to be mentioned again.

4. Very little charting - compared to other fields. Especially surgical fields.

5. Both fields offer the physician a life. It is possible, even easy, to take a week of vacation without the concern that your patients are all going to die or switch to another doc.

6. Less call.

7. Procedures - and lots of them!

8. Very little chronic managment of patients. (See #1.)
