I'm a USIMG (did all my undergrad in US) and Med sch at Ross, graduated March 2013.
step 1= 212
step 2 CS passed on first attempt
step 2ck: 215 second attempt (due to unforeseen circumstances)
Currently doing Basic science research in microbiology/immunology and working per diem as a Registered Nurse (was an RN prior to med sch) at the same University Hospital.
Applied last year without Ck scores, had 4 interviews (2 IM and 2 FM), ranked 3 and was unsuccessful.
Applying this year to mostly FM and few IM programs. My concern is
I'm on the fence about listing my work as an RN since graduation, on my application..,..,I'm worried it might be misconstrued as not truly vested in medicine.
Any advice on how to approach this year's match would be greatly appreciated
