AACOMAS Benefit

Just FYI...

For people appying the DO route...with crappy GPA's, if you have classes with yuchy grades..and retake the class...AACOMAS will only count the NEW grade.....

I had taken Gen Chem I and Bio as a Freshman and gotten a C and an F...and retook them and got A's. My Sci Avg....shot up as the C and F were replaced by A's.....

Good to know...

I retook them in the summer as nite classes after work..and it made all the difference in the world!

Thanks for the info. I didn't know that. So do you have to retake the class before you graduate to have it replaced, or is it okay to retake after?

Doesn't matter when you take them...I re-took long after graduation...and it was fine...
