4th year deciding to take Step 1

Hi i'm a 4th year deciding to take Step 1 and my exam got postponed. Unfortunately the earliest I can take it is Sat Sep 26th Since deadline is Oct 21st this year... Is it even worth taking at this point?

I'm a little puzzled; you are a 4th year and haven't taken step one yet? The test most people have to take at the end of their 2nd year? When exactly do you plan to take step 2?

Yes as a D.O. I decided I didn't need to take it last year. I changed my mind this January and have been studying since. So I have been studying for both exams. I have already taken Level 2 and will take Step 2 next week.

It only took 10 days to get my step 1 score back....if you take it 9/29 it should be back in time for ERAS

okay. As for whether you need to take it, depends on what your plans for the match. IMHO too many people take it.
