For those that got an interview at SF VA , how did you get notified of the offer? and how did you set up the date? I am confused as to whether my visit 1.5 month ago was considered a "visit" or an "interview".

I interviewed there last week. They offered me the interview back in mid-september. I would venture to guess they gave out all of their spots because I think the last interview day is sometime next week (i forget the exact day).

UNC already had their interviews (Nov 30 for in-person and Dec 7th/14th for ZOOM video interviews). If I remember correctly, they sent them out around mid November. The others I am not sure since I didn’t apply to any of them. But NEVER lose hope!!!!! If anything, there is always post-match!!!

You have to register for the Match, then submit your ranking list. At the end of Jan (can’t remember the date) you’ll get an email stating if you matched or not and to which program (one only).

Thanks. I submitted my ranking list and it says that the deadline is Jan 11, so I guess we'll be hearing by end of January or by early Feb maybe? What happens if you did not match to any program? Are there any post-Match acceptance and if there is, does one have to contact the program/director to be considered?

everything is on this schedule: Dental Match | Schedule. Results are sent jan 28. If you don't match there are often programs who have post-match spots available, I have heard you have to submit a new application to the programs and there are lists of which ones are available somewhere online, that's as far as I know!

Yes that is correct; however, I think anyone can participate even if they did not register for the MATCH.

Yea, but good thing you did pay because I am not sure! I feel like a list of all the programs would be sufficient enough (which can be obtained with someone you know who did register or probably here since I bet someone will post it on this thread).

You can call Toronto and ask, if you failed to include a program. Not sure if they will let you rearrange order. Call and ask. The worst they can say is no.

Can there be such thing as "conditional" matching where the program requires something else from the applicant/resident before the program starts and if he or she fails to satisfy that requirement and the acceptance is withdrawn?
