I've been working for corporate optometry for 2 years.

My current job gives mediocre salary (honestly too low in my opinion), great benefits, mediocre management, no tech support.
I am floating between 3-4 locations, which I don't mind that much.
At one location, I am seeing 15-22 patients. At others, I am seeing about 10-18 patients.
15 min for follow-up and Rx check. 20 min for glasses exams. 30 min for glasses & contacts exams.

at this company, we're expected to do MORE and MORE as time goes on - I am starting to feel really drained.
I'm not doing a bunch of refraction just because it's corporate.
I'm expected to give full comprehensive eye exams for every patient,
and considering there is absolute no tech support and I am doing everything from start to finish
AND we started to see pediatrics from age 5 - this is getting ridiculous and I feel really drained.

I'm starting to consider looking for other job opportunities, and even considering remote optometry jobs (maybe as part-time).
but I don't know ANYONE who's actually in remote optometry, and I'd really like to know what it's like.
I'm already familiar with how the exam flow is like because I've done enough research, but I am curious to know
compensation, benefits package, work/life balance, # of patients per day, etc.
