Hopkins.

You have more doors open to you & Residencies, like medical schools, care about where you are from / if you have family in CA. You can stay a 'resident' throughout Hopkins, apply as a CA 'resident', and become a real resident.

Hopkins will NOT hinder your goal to return to CA. I have a friend who did undergrad at UCLA, Med School at Hopkins, and then returned to CA for her residency at UCSD. Now practicing in San Diego .

So I interviewed at Hopkins but didn't get in. I did get into UCSD. I feel like these are vastly different programs, both great, but Hopkins with the bigger name in medicine. Can you attend second look events?
