Hey dear dermatologists,
this is probably not the place to ask, and it's probably nothing, but i was waxing my arms the other day for the first time (actually using some family recipe of sugar, water, lemon, and oil). Interestingly enough, my upper arms have developped a "rash-like" or a "insect-bite-like" appearance: like red spots, varying in size, from just a speck to about 0.75 cm in diameter, and white spots (like insect bites). And it's very itchy. The rest of my arms are OK, and it's not like the usual skin irritation i'm used to one my legs...etc.
Any ideas?
I think it might be just really really really irritated, but then, i was like...."maybe there was some kind of bacteria that has now penetrated my skin..........." and my mind kept going
thanks!
