Hey guys,
Just want to get an opinion about what you guys would do. I'm a recent pediatric graduate who is applying for a gas spot. I'm looking for a CA-1 spot for July 2003. There are some spots available at some "decent to good" programs (by reputation). I've also applied to other programs via ERAS/NRMP that have spots available for 7/2004. Some of these programs have better reputation than some of the available CA-1 (2003) spots.
Mind you, I haven't yet started the interview circuit so I don't personally know anything about any of the programs. I was curious what you guys would do. Would you start your residency at a "decent to good" program or wait out another year and hope to match at a "better (by reputation)" program?
Thanks for any reply.
